Looking south from above 1126 S. Main Street, this view captures a changing part of Dayton. For years, the parcel near Miami Valley Hospital sat largely vacant after . Lately , new development is beginning to reshape the area, continuing the steady investment around the hospital district and the southern gateway into downtown.

Unlike yesterday's smoky skies, today's air is noticeably clearer, allowing the southwest side of Dayton to stand out in the distance. Newly planted trees hint at how this corridor will continue to evolve in the coming years.

The parking garage on the left immediately catches the eye as a future vantage point. As construction continues and the landscape changes, returning to photograph this same location over the years will tell a fascinating story of Dayton's growth.
