Marah + Billy | Oakes Quarry Park

Marah and Billy, thank you guys for letting me spend part of your Ohio vacation with your family. It was so good catching up, hearing your story, and seeing just how much life has changed over the years.

One thing that really hit me after this session was realizing that Marah and I actually did our very first photoshoot together at Oaks Quarry Park about six years ago. Back then, neither of us could've imagined what life would look like today. Now she's standing there with Billy, three beautiful little girls, and a family that's built on so much love.

It's honestly pretty incredible to see how life comes full circle.

I hope years from now these photos remind you of more than just what everyone looked like. I hope they remind you of this season of life—the laughter, the little hands reaching for Mom and Dad, the girls making each other laugh, and the simple joy of being together.

Sometimes the biggest blessings begin with one decision. For Marah, that decision was moving to Florida, and just twelve days later, meeting the man who would become her husband. Looking at the life you two have built together, it's hard not to believe everything happened exactly the way it was supposed to.

And I can't think of a more fitting place to tell that story than Oaks Quarry Park in Fairborn, Ohio. Not only is it one of my favorite locations for family photography in the Dayton area, but it's also where Marah and I first created photos together years ago. Coming back to the same park all these years later—with Billy, the girls, and a whole new chapter of life to document—made this session feel even more meaningful.

Life changes fast.

That's why photographs matter.
