Last night, I had the honor of attending Evoke, a transformative event hosted by Everlasting Truth Boudoir at the historic Fort Piqua Plaza. Curated by creative visionary and entrepreneur Cassie Bodnar, the evening was filled with artistry, empowerment, and unapologetic self-expression.
A Daring Blend of Art and Performance
The event featured live aerial acrobatics that captivated the crowd, bold and expressive artwork from local creatives, and a burlesque performance by The Center Stage Sirens that was both seductive and deeply empowering. Nearly 100 guests gathered to witness this one-of-a-kind cabaret-style evening, with performers traveling from northern Dayton to the Cincinnati region.
The burlesque show in particular stood out—not as mere entertainment, but as a statement of empowerment, womanhood, and authenticity. Each performance reminded the audience that self-expression is a powerful act of liberation and that we thrive when we step away from the expectations of “what it should be” and instead walk in our own light.

While Evoke was stunning in its artistic presentation, its heart was in its mission. Everlasting Truth Boudoir ensured this event was not only about liberation and creativity but also about community impact. A portion of the proceeds from Evoke are being donated to local women’s and children’s shelters, making the event a true act of influence—bringing art and purpose together for meaningful change.
